	Facts: During this period the chromosomes are forming as well as the hair, skin, brain, and spinal cord. Nural tubes start to develop. When the egg and sperm meet, it creates either a male or a female gender right of the bat.  To early enough to spot a heart beat.   Ovulation occurs. Conception occurs.  Implantation and circulatory occur as well. Uterus of mother multiplies by 1000 times. Sperm creates the gender of the baby after it fertilizes the egg. Mother gets very tired and gets verry big cravings for certain things.
	Tests for mother.:     Nuchal translucency Screening (NTS) uses ultrasounds and an a blood test to determine different birth defects.      Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) determines any current or possible problems with there cromosomes.
